The tools on this site are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose. PDF is a complex format with decades of variants, and occasionally a document will be processed imperfectly or not at all. We fix such cases when they are reported, but we cannot promise every file will work.

Check your output before relying on it

Whenever a document matters — a contract going to a counterparty, a bundle going to a court, a form going to a government office — open the output and check it before sending. Confirm that pages are present and in order, that text is intact, and that any password you applied actually prompts for one. A thirty-second check is the difference between a tool being convenient and a tool being trusted blindly.

Your files and your responsibility

Our browser-based tools never receive your documents, so we cannot lose them — but we also cannot recover them. The tools write new files and leave your originals untouched; keeping those originals until you have verified the output is your responsibility. You are also responsible for having the right to process the documents you use here, and for complying with any law that applies to them.

Password protection is not absolute security

The Protect tool applies standard AES encryption, and the Watermark tool marks pages visibly, but no consumer document protection is unbreakable. A weak password can be guessed, and a determined recipient can retype or photograph what they can legitimately read. Choose strong passwords, share them through a separate channel, and treat these features as strong deterrents rather than guarantees.
