Contact Us

We read every message sent to PDF Tools. Email is the only channel we use — that keeps things simple and means nothing gets lost in a form queue.

We aim to reply within two business days. Messages about privacy or legal matters are handled within the timeframes required by law.

What to write about

Report a bug

A tool failed, produced a broken file, or behaved unexpectedly. Tell us which tool you used, which browser and operating system you are on, and what the file was like (page count, roughly how large, whether it was a scan or password-protected). We do not need — and would rather you did not send — the document itself.

Request a feature

Missing a tool you need, or an option inside an existing one? Describe what you are trying to accomplish rather than just the feature, and we can often suggest a way to do it today as well as consider building it properly.

Before you email about a broken file

A few things resolve the majority of reports we receive, and they are worth trying first:

  • Make sure the PDF is not password-protected. Encrypted files must be unlocked before most tools can read them.
  • Try a different browser. Our tools use recent browser APIs, and a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari gives the best results.
  • Disable your ad blocker or privacy extension briefly. Some aggressively block the scripts that do the actual PDF processing.
  • For very large files, check that your device has memory available — browser-based processing happens in your device's RAM.

Please do not attach confidential documents to a support email. If a specific file is involved, describe it instead — we can almost always reproduce the problem from a description, or we will create a test file of our own.
